New Set Up:
For most cases, only four steps are needed for surface
preparation & pre-treatment by PICKLEX®, De-greasing, rinse, application of
PICKLEX® and the final rinse. Then the finishing process can be performed.
PICKLEX® can be applied manually, spraying or dipping process.
Modification of an
existing process:
Existing surface preparation & pre-treatment process can be
modified just by using one of the tanks (made of plastic or stainless steel) for
PICKLEX®, and keeping the de-greasing & rinse tank and the final rinse tank.
Bypass rest of the steps.
PICKLEX® can be applied on the metal surface after traditional
de-greasing and rinsing, which will eliminate the flash rust problem and provide
a long term rust protection, without making changes to an existing cleaning
process.
NOTE: PICKLEX® can remove light mill oil and dust. However, it
is recommended to use a separate de-greaser, to keep PICKLEX® as clean as
possible.
PICKLEX® removes surface rust, laser scale and weld scale
completely while providing the conversion coating, all in one treatment,
eliminating acid treatment or media blasting.
